- 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
- 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
- 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
- 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
- 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
- 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
- 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

I decided that since this my first ever e-bike, I wanted to ride it first before doing this review. To really get a feel of my Adventure 3 and make a well rounded and honest review.
So after a 1000 miles in little over two month, and WOW I never knew how much a ride a bike. There is things I would wish this bike had like front turn signals would be great. A battery that had a longer range like maybe 80 miles, though I did get 66 miles, one time and have been able to get 60 miles a couple of times. Which I found amazing, when you take some issues that should give me less range. But being that Adventure 3 is my only way to get around, more milage would be great. Especially when your someone that can't afford an extra battery right now. Another thing, is I wish there was a way to adjust the throttle to get a better response when you hit it. When you use your throttle to get quickly across a busy street and there is a lag before it goes. Some people may like that and that is there choice, but if there was a way to adjust the throttle that would be great.
Now for all the good stuff, 66 mile range when your a little bigger then the recommendations call for a lighter person. The seating position is mostly comfortable, except when you take a 50 mile ride, you need to stretch your legs! :) The ride is really nice and moistly smooth, except for those potholes. . ."Ouch!" For the weight of the bike, it is pretty maneuverable and nimble. It shifts pretty seamlessly, after you get the 7 day checkup. Being able to lock up your wheel on your bike just gives you a sense of more security, along with a chain and lock. Plus setting up a password for ever more security too. awesome! The blue color step-thru looks marvelous, but I love the color blue.

Enjoying bike. I live on a mountain and every direction is either up or down. With the assistance now I can handle the terrain, I'm nearly 80 yrs old and having fun. Thanks for a very nice bike!
This is my first E bike and I love it so much that I'm looking for another one for my wife.
I have very rarely write reviews, but I was so very pleased with my adventure three. I’ve never owned a bike before and researched it quite a bit landing on this bike. It truly exceeded all of my expectations and is a joy to ride. On my first outing with my wife, using a standard cruiser it was so easy to stay up with her as she is a much better biker than me. The bike was easy to use for a first time, very stable, and truly enjoy to ride, with power where needed. Many thanks!
