Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.
Some Aventon models, such as the Level 2, Level 3, Abounds, Sinch 2, & Aventure 2, come with pre-installed fenders and a rear rack. Additional accessories are available for purchase. Explore a wide-range of Aventon accessories, including helmets, locks, bike pumps, and so much more to add to your next riding adventure.
All Aventon-branded frames, framesets, components, and batteries come with a 2-year warranty. Learn more about the Aventon warranty.
Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

*Aventon has the right without notice to the consumer to substitute components of at least equal quality for advertised Aventon ebike components in the event of the unavailability of such advertised components. More info.

**Max range is estimated based on a rider weighing 165 lbs (75 kg) on a paved, flat road, in Eco Mode, with Ride Tune set to the default settings. Actual range will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, weather conditions, tire pressure, and cadence.

Excellent, though only 1 ride in

The (blue) bike is beautiful and rides very smooth. I was very impressed how easily it assembled. Gears and brakes all work well, though just 1 trail ride down. I'm still getting used to the settings, but it certainly has enough giddy-up when I needed it from dead stops at the bottom of a few steep climbs. It absorbed some big bumps very well and the large tires also give me great comfort traveling at higher speeds. Two downsides come to mind...(1) the wobbly kick stand, which you really have to angle it right to make it hold; and (2) not sure how soon the seat will be replaced, as it is much too firm for trail riding, but it certainly will get replaced with something gel.

Hi Gregory, thank you for sharing your experience with the Ramblas ADV Ebike! We're thrilled to hear you love the ride and appreciate the smooth performance. Your feedback on the kickstand and seat is very helpful, and we're here if you need any tips or accessories. Enjoy your adventures!

Great bike for the price

Just received the bike today. Assembled it with little issue. Brakes are smooth. Shifts nice and fits me really good. I am 5'11". Bought it as a joy ride bike, not really a work out bike. I ride manual bikes on a regular basis. I have trails around me that I wanted something just to push hard and not wear out my legs for an actual work out day. This one fits the bill.

I tried the different assist options, eco, trail, turbo and auto. Auto is interesting, but I prefer to keep the assist level at an expected assist. Didn't get too much time to test as I got a flat 3 miles into the ride from a sharp rock or something. I was able to walk it back home with no issues, fortunately.

I am accustomed to an older full suspension bike that has nicer components. So I can definitely tell the difference in components. For the price of the bike, the value is in the motor and battery. Top notch for the price. Bike itself is average, but really nice packaging. Overall a great value.

I would like to recommend that the bottle cage screws get replaced with slightly longer ones. I had to take some bottle cage screws from an unused bike and replace the screws that came with the Ramblas ADV to install my bottle cage. Needs to be like 3mm longer.

I was gonna replace alot of stuff, just to customize the bike, but once I rode it, everything is good enough, except the bottle cage screws. The seat is nice. Handle bar grips are grippy and not too hard. The pedals grip pretty good. I normally use clipless pedals with my bikes, but I am keeping this one wth regular pedals, for other riders that ride with me. Front fork is very cushy. I might have to tighten up the preload just a bit.

Before I got a flat, I settled on turbo mode. I like to ride fast and my trails are wide open. Trail mode was ok. Might use that for tighter slower trails, but turbo mode is likely the mode I'll be in most of the time on this bike. Eco, is nothing special. Probably not the mode for my type of riding, but it does assist.

I am gonna set this one up as tubeless and see how it does on the trails tomorrow.

Hi David, thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the Ramblas ADV! We're glad to hear you're enjoying the ride and appreciate your feedback on the components and accessories. Your tips about the bottle cage screws are helpful, and we're happy the bike suits your riding style. Happy riding on your trails!

Loving It!

This bike is absolutely fun. I am riding mostly paths and gravel, very minimal trails. It rips.

I am curious about the stated range of 90 miles. I have had the bike now a month, ride daily a mostly flat 15 mile loop in Eco mode. My range (according to the display) is about 40 miles. No worries for me, I get two uses then re-charge.

This is a seriously fun bicycle, highly recommended for anyone seeking an aggressive e-bike.

Hey there,

Thanks for the awesome review! We’re thrilled to hear you're loving the bike and ripping up those paths and gravel loops! Regarding the 90-mile max range estimate, that figure is calculated under ideal test conditions—typically using a lighter rider, no wind, flat smooth pavement, and optimal tire pressure. Real-world factors like gravel resistance, rider weight, and stopping/starting can lower that average, but 40 miles on a single charge is right in line with solid daily performance. Keep enjoying those daily rides!

Aventon

Outstanding bike - but bring back the smaller frame!

My husband bought this bike after much research. We even found one to try at a bike shop nearby. It was perfect for me since it was the small frame. I kept trying to order it but kept getting out of stock messages. Finally I found they discontinued the small frame. The medium frame is just too large for me, do I ended up with a different brand altogether. Still wish I had that Ramblas. My husband has never wanted to bike more than he does now - he us in love with his Ramblas ADV. Great bike!

Hi Jules,

Thank you for sharing your story with us! We are thrilled to hear that your husband is loving his Ramblas ADV.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the availability of the small frame size. Hearing from riders who need specific frame options is incredibly valuable, and we are forwarding your notes to our product development team.
