We bought 2 Aventon 500 pace bikes, after 40 miles, one of the batteries will not charge. $500.00 for a new battery? Myswell buy a new bike!

the extra battery seems to be as good as the one that came with the bike, I have had no problems with it. i rotate between the two batterys.

It’s great to not have to worry about running out with a spare battery!! I bought a carrying case to put it in so handy.

Though our family has been traveling farther faster on the included battery, we wanted to challenge ourselves to add more range and possibility with a second. A few weeks in and we’re already naturally adding plenty more miles to our weekend outings. We highly recommend if you’re towing a bike trailer just to give you the flexibility since you already have the space to store a spare. Only thing I would note is getting a second battery cover/frame matched shell— which we haven’t done yet. Aventon’s customer service and assistance went above & beyond during our whole bike purchase process, too. Such a cool company!

I ordered an extra battery in order to increase my range when riding with a friend thru the Sierra Foothills and the National Forest, It seems to be working great, charged right up and fits perfectly in my bike battery niche.
