I have been using this on a Sinch step through and so far, works well.
The attachment to the bar is easy to secure and quickly installs.
An iPhone 12 with a protective case will fit nicely. However, a much larger phone than an iPhone 12 will probably not work or really overwhelm this phone holder rubber straps. Below are the dimensions of an iPhone 12.
Width: 2.82 inches. (71.5 mm), Height: 5.78 inches. (146.7 mm), Depth: 0.29 inch. (7.4 mm)
To hold the phone, the top and bottom rubber straps (shown in the ad picture) will need to be stretched over the top and bottom of the phone. Once the phone is secured the straps will cover some of the top and bottom part of the phone screen. This will make it difficult to view and access your entire screen. Because of this I find I need to set up my phone apps first and have them running prior to inserting the phone into the holder.
While riding I noticed since the phone is held down with rubber straps that means the phone at times will shake when the bike hits moderate to hard terrain. At first, I thought this was a major negative, however riding some more with it on I haven’t worried about this and stopped noticing the rattle.
I would give these 5 stars if there was no rattle and had complete access to the touch screen. I give it 4 stars since the way it’s designed rattle and reduce screen access will be always be a thing. However, for me it’s not a deal breaker and this is way better than not having something holding your phone while on a ride.
