I sold my Cannondale Treadwell Neo 2 for the Aventon Soltera 2. The Soltera is leaps and bounds better. More features for 900 USD less.
The torque sensor has a more natural feeling when riding. I also get about 15 additional miles with Soltera’s 350w battery. Brakes are great, shifting is pretty seamless. The fact that you can swap out the battery is an added plus. I rode 30 miles with the spare mounted on my cargo rack and never used it. I keep the sensor on eco mode. I like the extra kick, however I still want to put in the effort. The blinkers and front light are amazing, felt comfortable enough to ride on Busy streets. I ride about 100 miles per week. I did a ton of research before buying the Aventon. Very easy to put together out of the box. Took me 20 minutes. Sold my Cannondale and I will never go back. Great job on this bike Aventon.

I put off getting an e-bike bc I was a purist. My wife was experiencing discomfort in hands and back on her trad bike. So we took a leap and ordered the Soltara. I put it together in 20 minutes and from the first ride I knew it was exactly what we needed. Smooth power shift from pedal to electric and intuitive controls. I ride it super windy days on my normal route when I would otherwise stay in. Still able to push and get a work out but no worries about wind and hills. Maybe my wife will get to ride it some too.

My Soltera.2 is my first e-bike, at age 61, and I love it! After riding traditional (analog) bikes for many years, I appreciate the pedal assist on the steeper hills. It’s also a blast to cruise at 20+ mph on the straight aways. Assembly was super easy. The bike feels solid and handles really well. I bought my bike mostly for exercise, and so far I’ve gotten a great workout with every ride. I’ll look forward to putting many more miles on it, for years to come.

I've been holding out for quite a while, but finally found the right bike for the right price. All I've owned is Trek, but their ebikes are way too expensive for someone who rides just for a little fun. I had never heard of Aventon, but I read many positive reviews, and their assistance during the research and buying process was impressive. They also have the process down pat as far as shipping and making the assembly process as straightforward and easy as possible. Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with the bike I bought at the price I paid.
