While the Level 2 does not include turn signals, it does come equipped with front and rear lights for a safer riding experience, day or night.
The average range for the Level.2 commuter ebike is up to 60 miles per charge, depending on the pedal assist level and throttle usage. For optimal riding experience with the Level.2, use the lowest PSA level to conserve battery life and extend range.
The Level 2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with a suspension fork, fenders, and a rear rack, while the Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle.
Commuter ebike tires are designed to be versatile and can be ridden on both smooth and rough surfaces, including roads, gravel, dirty trails, rocky areas, and even wetlands. If you want to overcome more challenging terrain and trails, our electric mountain bike is better suited for rougher landscape due to their wider tires and different geometry.
The Level 2 commuter electric bike weighs 62 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 7.6lbs)
Aventon’s Level 2 comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Level 2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Either an adjustable stem or a handlebar with a higher rise can elevate the riding position of the bike.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

I am a 67 year old retiree who lives in a rural area. I bought the Level 2 stepover at a great sale price. I already owned a Lectric foldable and wanted to upgrade to a taller 27.5" tire bike. I considered the lower priced Lectric Xpress 750 for a long time, but finally went with Aventon Level 2, primarily due to overall perceived better quality and quiter motor. I was not dissapointed. I immediately unlocked motor to class 3, and thoroughly enjoy riding it on our scenic country roads. The handling and stability of the taller tire bike vs. my smaller **** tire bike has been significantly better.

Amazingly beautiful

Wanted to get a bike to make the short 4.5 mile ride to work, look at a lot of bikes.

Best bike set up

Had fusion surgery and needed to change over from a road style posture to an upright! After reviewing the geometry for Aventon and comparing to other brands. This Level 2 was perfect in every way. The quality was top notch. Instructions were super simple assembling. Upgraded to adjustable stem for handlebars during the unpacking. Been out for a few shorter rides. Plan on much longer rides once fully recovered. Nick, Kevin and Scott were all awesome with assistance with many questions I had to get the perfect setup. It definitely is the perfect set up for me. Great bike

I am enjoying the Level 2 bike i recently purchased. Now i can keep up with my wife and her pace 500. Plus now able to keep up with the grandkids. The bike is a quality bike through and through. I like the ride position and the easy shifting of both the mechanical gears and the assist.
The purchase was through Aventon.com and it was smooth and painless. The assembly was also easy with the help of the video. Looking forward to putting on lots of miles this year yet.
