Aventon Control Unit’s 4G†/GPS† capabilities introduce an array of new features.

  • GPS Location - GPS positioning is performed periodically and the position is updated to the Aventon app.
  • 4G cellular communication - The ACU communicates with cloud servers over 4G cellular networks.
  • Geofencing - Set boundaries where your ebike is allowed or not allowed to go.
  • Report lost - With 4G subscription, the motor assistance can be disabled from the Aventon app, and the bike’s motor will stop functioning.
  • Remote shutdown - The Aventon app can remotely control the shutdown of the ACU via Bluetooth or 4G network.
  • Alarm and Motion sensor - Now you can remotely detect movement and security verification failure, all from the Aventon app. After the shutdown, the ACU’s built-in accelerometer will continuously monitor for vibrations (such as being moved, falling, etc), and will report it through the 4G connection when detected.
  • Status report - With 4G, whether your bike is on or off, the ebike status info like location and battery is directly uploaded to the cloud server when the Aventon app is not connected. Through your Aventon app, you can also receive updates on ebike status and change notification frequency as desired.
  • Ride statistics summary - During your ride - mileage, duration, start/end locations are recorded and uploaded to the cloud server via Bluetooth or 4G, even when your Aventon app is not in use.
  • Transportation Mode - All functions such as status reporting and vibration monitoring can be turned off. For long-distance transportation, reducing the use of ACU’s 4G, can save battery power.
Fat tire bikes are designed primarily for all-terrain use and can handle various off-road terrains, including street, snow, sand, dirt trails, and rough roads.
Aventon ebikes like the Aventure 3 are built to the IPX5 water-resistant standard. An IPX5 rating means the bike is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This provides a moderate level of water resistance, allowing you to ride in light to moderate rain or through small puddles. However, IPX5 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.
Some Aventon models, such as the Level 2, Level 3, Abounds, Sinch 2, & Aventure 2, come with pre-installed fenders and a rear rack. Additional accessories are available for purchase. Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

First E bike over 3 year period, haven't changed bikes since.

I initially got interested in the E bike market in late 2022 around December.
I was 12 at the time, my mom and dad were going through some stuff, but somehow some way, they pulled off the parent trick, they some how we're able to afford 2 bikes, a smaller and bigger, my older brother received the larger model, i recieved the shorter model. I love my Aventure, outstanding performance, surprisingly lighter than you would think (still real heavy). When I downloaded the app and upgraded the speed to the max, I took it for a spin, best feeling of my life. Not only is the Aventure model perfect and beginner friendly, it has amazing range even on max speed, I usally get 3-4 hours on a full charge at Assist 5. One thing I reccomend is stock on 4 brake pads once bought. The brake pads are amazing don't get me wrong. But due to the high speed the pads do wear out a bit faster than a usual bike which IS expected, it isn't a design flaw, it's the pads not the bike. Also I beg you, dont be stupid and do no hands, I broke my arm because of that, do wear a helmet. Once again, the arm wasn't because of any "flaws" it's simply FAFO. I absolutely love this bike, also the longevity of the bike is OUTSTANDING. I have crashed over silly things a few times, my bike has gotten out with no damage but just a few scratches. Highly reccomend, 1000000000000/5 stars!

Love this E-Bike Aventon Aventure @73 years old need a little help at times. And this E-bike definitely stands up to it's performances. I
Still get on my S- RockShrox for a good workout. But for long distance I take my Aventon out.Thinking about up grading to a 3 model.

First e-bike

Completely new to the bike world so with everything I kept looking up about them and with all needs I wanted with a e-bike, Aventon kept coming up. I’m 6'0 310lbs so weight capacity it a must and I want to option to go off road a bit so this is what led me to the Aventure 3. Commuting is also a reason why landed on it because in my city has lots of hills so the pedal assist and throttle can be a life saver when I’m not trying to sweat. I was very impressed with shipping, I ordered it on a Monday evening and received it that Friday around 1pm. It took about 2 1/2 to ship and receive tracking info. Haven’t had to experience it myself which is a good thing, but from all the FB & Reddit groups I follow most people say they have good customer service. The app is really cool and you can really fine tune your bike to the way you like. So far it’s been a great experience.
