While the Level 2 does not include turn signals, it does come equipped with front and rear lights for a safer riding experience, day or night.
The average range for the Level.2 commuter ebike is up to 60 miles per charge, depending on the pedal assist level and throttle usage. For optimal riding experience with the Level.2, use the lowest PSA level to conserve battery life and extend range.
The Level 2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with a suspension fork, fenders, and a rear rack, while the Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle.
Commuter ebike tires are designed to be versatile and can be ridden on both smooth and rough surfaces, including roads, gravel, dirty trails, rocky areas, and even wetlands. If you want to overcome more challenging terrain and trails, our electric mountain bike is better suited for rougher landscape due to their wider tires and different geometry.

Aventon’s Level 2 comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Level 2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Either an adjustable stem or a handlebar with a higher rise can elevate the riding position of the bike.
Yes. Class 1 ebikes are pedal-assist only, meaning they have no throttle. By removing the throttle on your Aventon ebike, you can configure a class 2 to a class 1 ebike for trail use.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

improve your life part 2

To those still hesitant i can attest to the secuirty function, today i rode my bike to my local gym for a workout, and parked my bike out in front and used the autolock feature, when during my workout i got a alert and checked on my bike only to find someone mid atempt in trying to turn it on and drive it away, he claimed the bike was his and malfunctioning, till i proved otherwise, he ran away quickly, its worth the investment 100%

Improve your life

I cannot tell you how much fun this bike is to ride. I use it to commute to work. I use it to explore my city and I use it to help fight some depression. You will fly on this bike. If you change the settings to go to the maximum speed it eats hills like I eat pizza. Not to mention the app and its features and security. The peace of mind it gives is priceless. I save so much money on gas and car insurance and car payments and I get exercise and enjoy the outdoors all the same I I found the brand that I will support continuously for the rest of my life.

Love this bike!

I have the Aventon Level 3 step through. I’ve always enjoyed riding but this bike brings it to a new experience. It’s just so much fun to ride and I can now keep up with my husband on his bike! I’ve been riding so much more and mainly use no assistance or eco mode. But when I want to go all out Sport and Turbo are awesome! So happy with this bike, you can’t help but smile when you’re riding it!

My First eBike

This is not only my first eBike, it's my first bike in over 20 years. I'm actually mad at myself for not getting one sooner, and so glad I didn't go with some cheap off brand one. This bike is well built, beautiful to look at, and SO MUCH FUN to ride. I just relocated to Florida and have enjoyed riding the bike around my new city, checking out the fun trails around various lakes, and even taking to and from some local theme parks. I don't even want to use a car to get around if I absolutely don't have to, it's that much fun to ride. I go to bed every night, excited for my ride the next day.

Some small nitpicks. The app leaves a little to be desired, and even though it connected to my iPhone's health app, it doesn't seem to actually send it any info. The instruction video for assembly is out of date. I'll attribute this to the bike being on its way out with the new Level.3 being released, but it did make some parts confusing when assembling. Also, I wish the headlight has a wider throw on the light. It's really just lights up a small square of space. Lastly, the tires came way under inflated, and as it's my first bike in 20+ years, I didn't have a pump, so I didn't get to ride it the first day it came until I was able to purchase one.

Those are all minor nitpicks though. Overall the bike is amazing and I am so happy to own it. I can't wait for my many many rides to come.

Level 3 Step Through

Had it for a month and am loving it. Only thing that was annoying is the rear breaks were really squeaking. Where I purchased it, they did not break in the breaks or tell me to do it. Once I figured out that, problem solved (i hope). If not, I will have the place I purchased from check it out at their 90 day inspection. I am 5'8" and got the large size. Seems to fit really well. I did swap out the hand grips for better ones and added a phone holder, which is great in that you can watch/track your ride with the GPS and the app.
