I love riding my level 2 commuter. The only question I have as I am getting stronger it seems I don’t get any pedal assist. I ride say at 18 and feel no help. Even if I get tired. My wife has a pace and she flies past me as pedal assist on all the time.

I purchased the Aventon Level 2 bike to commute to work (4 miles each way) and it has been a pleasure to ride. I have one big hill on my commute and the pedal assist makes it doable. I arrive to work feeling like I’ve had a nice adventure but not totally spent and I get to work in about the same time it takes to drive avoiding the LA freeway traffic. I put the bike together myself without issue. Brakes, shifting and motor work well. The bike is heavier than the hybrid I’m used to riding but I can still lift it up a flight of stairs. I had a flat after running over an earring I think and upgraded the tires to Schwalbe puncture resistant. All in all, very happy with my purchase and find the bike to be very fun to ride.

I LOVE MY NEW BIKE. There is a learning curve with the gears and the throttle but it is easy to catch on how to maximize your battery. I am so happy with this investment. I highly recommend this bike

The bike was easy to assemble (even if the video is a bit out of date). The ride experience is intuitive and comfortable. Good battery life, good balance of rugged and quiet tires. Great on roads and does fine on gravel and dirt. I enjoy riding it with no power when it's flat to get a better workout, but the power allows me to tackle big hills and ride further than I would without it.

I can't quite get the bike comfortable for my 5'9" frame with long legs and short arms - the handlebars are a little too low when the seat is high enough for pedaling. I'll have to spend money at a bike shop to solve that issue. The problem was worse on another brand of electric bike, so I'm glad I did a test ride. Battery life is excellent so far. The display shows speed and what power level you are on, and a bunch of other things I never look at. The brakes seem to be very good quality. The derailleur makes a little noise in some gears but I'm still in the break in period, and will get it tuned up soon. Love the built-in rack over the back tire. I am looking forward to some bike trekking this summer.

I waffled for many months to purchase an e-bike, but also deciding what company to buy from. I finally made the decision to go with Aventon, since the price was comparable to other e-bikes, but what set it apart was the extra battery and the torque sensor. After assembling the bike, I waited another week before taking it on a ride, still reluctant and not sure if the expense was worth it. I finally took it for a short one mile ride, and was underwhelmed. Giving it another chance, I took the bike out on a windy Good Friday for a longer ride and used pedal assist one for about 3/4 of the ride, and was BLOWN away by the response time and overall comfort of the bike. I did not want to go up in assist, to make sure that I was providing the effort. In PA 1, I reached speeds of 22 mph and did feel like that I had a workout. At this point I am a believer, and now have to make the decision when to leave the road bike in the garage and jump on the level 2. Well done Aventon!!
