While the Level 2 does not include turn signals, it does come equipped with front and rear lights for a safer riding experience, day or night.
The average range for the Level.2 commuter ebike is up to 60 miles per charge, depending on the pedal assist level and throttle usage. For optimal riding experience with the Level.2, use the lowest PSA level to conserve battery life and extend range.
The Level 2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with a suspension fork, fenders, and a rear rack, while the Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle.
Commuter ebike tires are designed to be versatile and can be ridden on both smooth and rough surfaces, including roads, gravel, dirty trails, rocky areas, and even wetlands. If you want to overcome more challenging terrain and trails, our electric mountain bike is better suited for rougher landscape due to their wider tires and different geometry.

Aventon’s Level 2 comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Level 2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Either an adjustable stem or a handlebar with a higher rise can elevate the riding position of the bike.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Excellent feature/price value!

The Level 3 has features often found only on much more expensive bikes. And the mid-year refresh further improved the brakes and tail-lights, making this an even better value.

I love my Level 3

I was looking for an e-bike that would make riding up the hills in my area easier. I paid a visit to my local bike shop and looked over several options. I wanted a step-thru bike since I am almost 70. They recommended the Aventon Level 3. After a test ride I really liked it. When they told me about the Black Friday pricing, free annual maintenance and a discount on accessories I was sold. I was able to ride 160 miles before the weather turned bad and couldn’t be happier.

I've not had so much fun since I've been a kid

Our office moved closer to my house and I thought I might be able to ride a bike to work rather than drive, and so I started to look into commuter e-bikes. I'm glad I did. The Aventon Level 3 has been great, and the entire purchasing experience has been great. The bike comes packaged nicely, and is mostly assembled. I dragged it into my garage, and it probably took me an hour or 1.5 hours to put it together. The video directions were helpful. I then investigated a ton of options such a radar to go on the back of the bike (Garmin Varia RCT715, which is also great) so I could see cars coming from behind me on my phone and watch. I was worried about scratching up the paint, and so I got some paint protection film (I love Zefal Skin Armor 3M Matte Roll (Ref: 2624) – 250-Micron Clear Polyurethane Frame Protection Film--so much better than the difficult to apply alternative film I tried, which looked terrible due to the bubbles). I then got the double pannier bags from Aventon, which are great, and easy to install, as well as Aventon's folding lock. Once set up, the bike was super easy to ride and very easy to operate the electronics. I got the step over, and if I was going to do it again, I would probably have gotten the step through. I'm 6'2" and can easily step over the seat, but with the bags full extended, it is more challenging. Nothing else is challenging about this bike and so I'd rather have it simple and just step through. The bike's electronics and digital smarts are awesome. I love riding this bike to work, barber, store, etc. So much fun.
