As the Ramblas is a performance mountain bike, it’s not common for mountain bikes to have step-through options as the frame’s rigidity takes priority over everything for optimal performance and control on rougher terrain. Generally, mountain bikers of smaller size will simply choose a smaller size frame to ease their riding experience.
Yes. However, this will limit the Ramblas’s use. Ramblas is a class 1 electric bike, without a throttle it’s allowed on various dirt roads and mountain bike trails. Currently, there are no compatible throttle options for the Ramblas either.

Aventon’s Ramblas is a class 1 electric mountain bike, and does not include a throttle.
Aventon’s Ramblas is built to the IPX6 water-resistant standard. An IPX6 rating means the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle. This provides strong water resistance, so you can confidently ride in heavy rain or through puddles and mud. However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

A lot of bike for the money

I’ve had this bike for about a month and so far, I’ve only used it on pavement or bike trails. I love that it doesn’t look like a traditional e-bike nor does it handle like one. It has a natural feel. Even in turbo mode, it feels natural….just much faster. I covered 24 miles today at an average of 22 mph with over 800 ft of incline. The incline wasn’t extreme but it also wasn’t flat. I passed every bike on the trail! This thing is a rockstar. Everyone was checking it out after the ride and wishing they chose the Ramblas over what they were riding. Love this bike.

Mt Biking again!

I just received a heart transplant last year, 2024 and hadn't ridden a Mt bike much in the last 10+ yrs. Hadn't been on all the trails I used to ride in almost 13 yrs. I had an inexpensive e bike I rode on the trails a little bit 5 yrs ago but it really didn't have the power to climb much more than the easiest hills and I wasn't very strong and eventually had to give up the trails again. After my transplant, I realized my old ebike wasn't going to cut it and decided to upgrade to a nicer bike. The Ramblas has handled like a dream and I've been able to ride trails again I hadn't been on in 14 yrs. or more. This bike was everything I could ask for. I still suffer from partial paralysis on my right side due to complications from my surgery and this bike has plenty of power to get up so I can get down. Grest bike for this disabled rider. I love it.

Aventon Ramblas

I purchased a Ramblas e-bike for trails, rail trails and road. So far I am not disappointed. Even on the road in eco mode I had no problem keeping up with my wife on her Aventon pace 500. I am very impressed with the comfort, functionality and smoothness of the ride. The gearing is more suited for trails, but works fine for the road too. I also really like the drop post seat and front rock shock feature.
I'm seventy and have been a cyclist (mostly road) for years. At 5’ 8’ tall and about 140 lbs. the medium fits me perfect. I have only ridden a couple of times but so far the Ramblas has exceeded my expectations. I feel this was a solid purchase with no regrets. I also contacted Aventon with a couple of questions and the response time and service is top notch.

Love Ramblas

I am 64 and have mountain biked for years. The climbs were starting to wear me out more than usual and the Ramblas is just what i needed. I can use the assist on the hills where needed which make my rides much more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Ramblas for any mountain biker wanting a little more assistance.

Just What I Needed

I'm new to ebikes and mountain trail riding, hadnt actually ridden a bicycle in like 50 years. But there's lots of awesome open space, mountains and trails very near, and I needed exercise other than walking. So I got the Ramblas after seeing so many glowing reviews. Now I'm thrilled and stoked to be biking through gorgeous, increasingly challenging trails with my confidence growing each ride. And my knees feel great, and I know I'll drop some excess pounds. Finally, it looks awesome and I get compliments and stares galore. I'm loving it.
