I’ve built quite a few bicycles over the past 30 years, and I’m honestly impressed with the Ramblas ADV. There was minimal assembly after unboxing, and what was already assembled was done correctly.

I didn’t waste any time converting the tires over to tubeless, and the job was a snap. The fact that the rims were already taped up made the job so much faster and simpler. I also appreciated that the rims and tires were well matched, so the tires mounted up with very little fuss. I didn’t need anything more to seat the beads than a simple floor pump.

I’ve taken the bike out around my small village streets, as well as my local leg of the Empire State Trail, and the ride has been surprisingly smooth and comfortable. My local streets have some short but absurdly steep hills, and the Ramblas has handled those hills without a fuss. The strong motor quickly ramps up the power, and handles all the extra work in scooting me to the top.

The fork is reasonably plush, the derailleur shifts smoothly, and the brakes are plenty strong. I also love how the rear lights have been mounted into the seat stays. The battery lasts seemingly forever on a charge, and the mid-drive motor is impressively strong and quiet. The dropper post is a nice add-on, and the computer is well thought out.

All in all, this is a heck of a bike for the price. Aventon made some smart decisions on where to save money on this build, and put the bulk of the value in the areas that needed it most.

I even used tech support to answer some initial questions, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

I’ve held off buying an e-bike for a few years now, feeling that maybe e-bikes just weren’t quite ready for prime time. I’m glad I held out for the Ramblas ADV. This bike is more than enough for my local double track dirt trails, New York street potholes, and 30-mile round trip bike commutes. It’s going to be an awesome year of riding.

PS - I’m 5’10” with a short body and extremely long legs. I went with a size medium to make sure that the reach to the handlebars wasn’t too far. The size medium is perfect for me.

This is my second Ramblas and I have almost 2000 hard miles on the first one, it's been bulletproof!

I will caveat this review with the fact that I just got my bike Monday (today is Wednesday) and have got two rides on it, one on the road, the other on trails. I’m impressed with the quality of the components, especially the display. The resolution and quality of the display is really nice. The brakes work great, and the drive train is nice, although it took 45min of tinkering to get it to shift properly. I was initially concerned about the fork, but after my first trail ride (7.4 mi), I was pretty happy with it. Probably won’t be upgrading it as soon as I originally thought. The power of the 100nm motor is very obvious. I compare it to my Giant Talon E+ with a 50nm motor and the difference is very noticeable. I especially like the Uphill Start Assist. It works very well and really helps when stuck in a higher gear. Riding the trails on this bike was very enjoyable. I generally don’t to a lot of jumping, but I like to go fast, and that was definitely not a problem. I love the fact that the wheels and tires are tubeless ready, and all I had to do was remove the tube and install a new Presta valve along with sealant and I was all set to go! I only have one real complaint. It seems like this bike is being promoted as possibly a dual use MTB and commuter bike. I really wish they would have included the same security features as some of there lower cost commuter/cruise bikes.

I've had my Ramblas for almost a year now, it's ny 2nd eMtb and it's been a blast to ride! An i injury caused me to gain weight and lose some fitness but I still want to go out and ride with my friends. I'm 275 lbs and this bike helps level the playing field. Even with my weight, the battery lasts a long time and I've been able to ride every steep gravel hill we've encountered in the mountains. Really excited to keep pushing how far I can go on it and it makes me excited to go riding.

I love my Ramblas . Coming up on my two year anniversary. I have put hundreds of trail miles on it. Never let me down! Only two upgrades I have wanted are tubeless tire and upgraded drop post. I see the new adv has both. Well done!!
