I love this ebike adventure 2.
Been out and about on trails and on the road. Wide tires and motor give that constant pace while I still feel like getting a workout. I'm pushing 50 and my energy levels and joints are not what it used to be. I can now travel farther than ever before.
Well built strong welds, easy to assemble, and looks great. Comes with features other ebikes do not ie fenders and rear rack. Internal housing of electrical is well done and built in tale lights w/blinkers it nice. Kinda heavy 70lbs. but I expected that, I carry up and down only one flight of stairs so it's not that bad. It does have a 🚶‍♂️ walk bike feature which helps going up stairs.
I've yet to get morw than 30 miles on one charge if on eco mode with medium peddling. So, I will invest in a second battery. Sport mode medium peddling get about 22 miles with 20% battery left. Which shows map photo. Both street and trails with many hills.

I have owned my Adventon Adventure 2 for one year and have about 2500 miles on it. I ride only gravel roads. This bike is very solidly built and well designed. After one year, it still looks and rides like new. When shifted properly, it can pedal like a traditional bike, or you can throttle your way to a minimal-effort ride. Regardless of how you use it, this bike is a great ride. I highly recommend it.

I suffered too long with the stock seat post providing no protection what-so-ever.
This seat post was super easy to install and adjust. Thanks for the sleeve I needed for my Pace 500.
Riding now is like sitting next to an angel on a cloud. Thanks for this great product offering.

I have had the Abound SR for a bit over a month now. Coming from an Adventure 2, I wanted something that had the same power(750W). I wanted something a little bulky so I opted for the Abound SR. I am sure glad I did because this bike is great. I chose the black because I could accent with any color pedals or grips I choose. The added security measures are great feature but nothing replaces a good security lock. Overall, a super fun bike to ride and handles great. I just wish Aventon would offer a discount on accessories with a purchase. Wouldn’t mind having a spare battery like I did with my AA2.

I live in Okc and bought my AA2 at the end of last November as a Christmas present to myself. I have a 1000 miles on my bike now. I ride it everywhere I can. I ride my bike in eco mode most of the time. The bike has plenty of power to easily maintain 16 - 18 mph regardless of the wind or hills. If I am in a hurry, I can kick it into turbo mode and fly along at 28 mph. I am 5'11'' and got the step through regular sized bike. It fits me much better than the larger bike. I outfitted my bike with a bag equipped with two saddle bags. This is great for carrying home groceries. I recommend getting the seat post with a shock. It makes a big difference. I have never gotten saddle sore riding this bike with the shock post and factory seat. I also changed the handlebar stem to an adjustable one so I could raise the bar height to a more comfortable level. I regularly do 30 mile bike rides keeping my heartrate above 140. I usually have around 50% power left on the battery. So, yes you can get a good workout riding the bike. We have 100 miles of multiuse trails in the Okc area. I am looking forward to exploring them all. I have ridden this bike in snow, on dirt and gravel, and roadways. It handles them all very well. With all this said, I really enjoy this bike and definitely recommend it. Tedb

I saw an article on the internet about electric bikes and the Abound was one that was reviewed. I thought that would be a great bike to into town and get groceries and run around. I looked at them at a local bike shop back in November. I got an email from Aventon saying there would be a price increase due to tariffs so i pulled the trigger and bought one. I have had it a week and have put over 100 miles on it. Went grocery shopping and with the large rack I was able to get all my groceries on it and make it home safely. Only problem now is the wife rode it and now she wants an electric bike.

The geometry is on point, the motor has torque for days, honestly doesn’t even feel heavy at all. Also the suspension fork is not a priority to change in my opinion, it actually works really good. Stop reading and buy it!

I just installed this mirror on my Pace 500.3 step-thru, and it was a breeze! The installation was a quick 2-minute job, and I’m thrilled with how easy it was. I can already feel the boost in safety and visibility while riding, and I’m counting down the minutes until I can hit the road tomorrow to test it out. I’m super happy with my purchase and can’t recommend it enough!

My wife and I took the plunge and got electric bikes. We were impressed at the quality. We bought this week for 2 reasons. 1 we were worried about Terrifs and 2 because a friend sat me down and educated me. For us we want it to be for streets, trails and the beach so wide tires were a must. We LOVE our bikes. At 65 and 67 my wife and I couldn't engage inclines anymore. These bikes make us work less but still get a work out. My only complaint. It was hard to get a human on the line however, way better then contact us later from a US citizen then talking to an Asian immediately.

I caught hand foot and mouth disease from a shopping cart in 2020. It turned me from a relatively healthy **** guy into a 40 year old man with congestive heart failure. The virus infiltrated my heart and turned most of my left ventricle into scar tissue before I wound up in the ER.

The journey to recapturing the same energy and spirit I had when I had all of my heart function has been a laborious one, with lots of false starts. I hike daily for cardio now getting a couple of miles every single day, but assumed that bicycling was going to be something out of reach. I don't tolerate hard aerobic exercise like I used to , and living in a fairly hilly region, that meant bicycling was a non-starter.

Then came the Aventon Abound SR. Firstly the 440lb weight capacity. I'm 6'5 and 300lbs, so finding a bike with the get-up and go required to haul me around is normally a hassle, the cargo capacity of the Abound means that it can maintain acceleration up the steepest hills I have to face locally, even without any peddling. The tension based throttle assist means that I'm always peddling at the same difficulty, speed, regardless of the incline/mild grassy terrain - THIS IS AMAZING FOR CONSISTENT 120bpm cardio. Literally life changing. While they advertise a 60 mile battery, I would say that I get closer to 35 or so using the 'sport' mode, and it would probably be closer to 20-25 miles on a battery using turbo mode and not peddling at all.

I went from 15 minute bike rides using carefully curated routes to two hour bike rides going wherever I fancied - with stage 3 heart failure, it is hard to overstate how liberating that is. Plus, the damned thing is just fun to ride!

As I build endurance (mostly of the tailbone variety), I plan on picking up a second battery, that turns it into an all day transportation option, in addition to a second bike, for the wife.

The Aventon Abound makes me feel like I'm riding bikes as a kid again - can you even put a price on that?

We are so happy with our Aventon Sinch 2.5 r-bike. We did our research when looking for our first e-bike. I got the sage green and my husband got midnight black. We both love the **** tires! This bike handles really well and I mostly use the eco pedal assist and I put it in a gear where I can do the pedaling up hills and during my ride. I only use the throttle when I start off at a light when crossing a street. I have used it while riding on the grass too. My husband loves using the throttle and he gas operated the pedal assist in Eco, touring and sport. He got the bike to do 30 mph when using the app on his phone!

My husband and I are 69 so this is a game changer! We can enjoy longer rides now. Looking forward to exploring and having some fun rides this Spring and summer. We've already put well over a hundred miles since we got our bikes. We get lots of compliments on our bikes too.

I've had my step through bike for a week now and love it! I have never been a big cyclist but wanted to get out and about in the spring air and this bike makes it so nice to do that. The video and manual was not a lot of help in puttingthe bike together, but calling the customer service line was very helpful. Very impressed with the packaging and quality of products.

I have arthritis and my knees are bone on bone. This is just the thing to get, and keep me moving! I’m a little in excess of 300 pounds, but this bike has plenty of power and helps me push myself to take longer rides. Again, I love my new Adventure.2 e-bike!

I bought my Level 2 Commuter last year and love it for the rough streets in Chicago. Solidly built and I have about 500 miles on it thus far even though it is winter here but look forward to riding more soon. I liked the design and features and love the integrated Headlight/tail lights and brake lights. I just bought another for my partner as I was torn between Level 2 and Level 3 but the brake lights steered me towards the Level 2 model so now we have two. Battery life is long and I have adjusted easily to an eBike from a regular trail bike. Thank you for a great product!

I love my Aventure2, but just bought the Pace 500.3. These ebikes are the awesome! They are so different but perfect in their own way. I hope to enjoy them forever! 💛 💙

I had a really hard time deciding to make the transition to an ebike. I was worried and feeling like I would be cheating myself out of exercise. What it did was allow me to continue and add even more adventures without hesitation. I use it 10x more then my traditional bike and never turn away an adventure with the whole family. I am an older dad with young kids that either need to be trailer towed, can only go so far, or might be dangerous for them to operate their own bike was solved by the aventure 2. I have over a year on it now and have absolutely put it through the all the paces. From single track trail riding, snowy trails and pulling my kids across an island, it's been done. All without a single issue. I have consistently pulled a trailer upwards of 200lbs on full day adventures. I would not even consider it an option with a standard bike but now I go more often, longer, faster, and enjoy everything about it. Bike was a total game changer and fits not only my lifestyle but also my families. I look forward to more adventures.
As a side note I sprung on an excellent deal Aventon offered with an extra battery, suspension seat and extras. Don't pass it up.

I’ve always enjoyed bike riding but as years went on, my bad knees would make it painful sometimes. Last year I went on a nice ride on a local bike trail… I felt great and went out about 15 miles! Then, I turned around for the ride back and hit a headwind… my knees started to really hurt… that ride home was brutal and I didn’t ride as much after that… Fast forward to Feb 2025 when my daughter got a Level 2 for her birthday… I had always known about e-bikes but never tried one… I was blown away so much so that a week later, I purchased a Level 3 for myself and another Level 2 for my wife!!! At 6’1” 220, I went with the large frame. If my knees feel great, I can ride with no assistance… if I have a little pain, I switch it to Eco mode, where it makes you feel like you have the legs of a 40 year old… switch to Sport mode and you feel like you spend most of your days in the gym. All leg days!! Switch to Turbo mode and you have the legs of Superman… Hitting a hill and you just don’t have anything left? Hit the throttle and, and, well, what a joy to ride! Most of the time I switch between modes as I ride depending on the terrain. My new Level 3 has restored my joy of riding! With only 2 color choices, the Level 2 has brake lights whereas the newer model, Level 3 does not which seems odd. I believe it was because they upgraded the brakes and although they are better brakes, they lack the switch that would allow for a break light… Also, I do wish there were more color choices but it’s only color so I went with matte black over the matte purple/plumb.

Wow o Wow what a awesome bike the ride is so smooth and this baby can get up and go quickly damn!!!! I was hesitant about spending the money but it is definitely worth it so all my ebike riders if you can afford get it you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

I bought a Level 2 about a year ago and put almost 2,000 miles on it.
Here's the pros:
- Best "bang for the buck" of all e-bikes.
- Excellent build quality
- Five levels of pedal assist
- Integrated front, rear, side and fender lights with braking
- Bright, easy to see display, even in sunlight
- Torque sensing motor provides a natural feel
- Decent fenders and rear rack that supports 50+ lbs.
- Spring-loaded front suspension
Cons:
- Level 1 pedal assist is way too much, wasting battery life.
- Weighs 62 lbs. Easily the biggest drawback to this bike.
- Range: Even on minimal pedal assist, the battery last at most 50 miles, less than the claimed 60 miles.
- Cheap plastic chain guard broke.
- Kickstand bolts broke off. I replaced the stock kickstand with a center mounted "motorcycle" stand.
- Right adjustment **** on front suspension mysteriously disappeared. Not sure if it was ever there.
- Cheapest Shimano groupset, with no option to upgrade. Erratic shifting.
- Cheap saddle. Developed a tear right in front.
- Kenda tires. I bought Schwalbe e-bike tires with extra puncture protection.
Other than the weight, Aventon has done a careful job of balancing quality and price.
My first choice of an e-bike was a Specialized Turbo Vado with a center-mounted motor at half the weight but twice the price.
I struggle to lift the Level 2 up a few steps to my door, but the trade-off has been worth it.
If I had to make the decision again, I would still buy the Aventon Level 2. Nothing about the Level 3 is compelling enough to make me want to upgrade.

This is my second **** tire bike. My first **** tire was an earlier model Rad Rover. The Aventon Adventure 2 is in class of its own. I'm a 70 year old and I ride for pleasure and exercise. My rides include a number of steep hills. What goes up must come down... weighing in at about 230 lbs I find the brakes exceptionally good. The torque sensor makes this bike stand alone. I kill the hills. The roads are paved but there are some rough places with potholes. The Aventon is a solid bike and sails over the rough sections quietly with ease. I fee very safe riding this bike. I've had a few questions and recently contacted the Aventon tech support. Their response was impressive and my quires were addressed immediately. Nice job well done to the Aventon team on an awesome product.

I bought the Aventon Adventure 2 in Russia through several intermediaries and it is the perfect electric bike. I have already ridden more than 1000 km on not the best roads, but the bike does not care. The battery holds a charge for about 60-70 km if you use the sport and turbo modes. Large wheels are the best on sandy hills, and we have many such roads. I am 100% satisfied!

What are best temperatures to keep battery life up!!

My pedal unscrewed and destroyed the Crank Arm threads. Unfortunately, the part was out of stock, but the Customer service guy was very helpful and taught me that this is a generic part and my local bike shop should have it and the puller. They did and I'm back riding an hour later ❗

We love our Abound SR e-bikes, we went to a bike shop in New Hampshire and got to ride all Aventon Models. My wife immediately fell in love with the Abound, I really liked the Level 2. She said just try this one. I did and for my for height and for my commuting to work the Abound was the right fit for me. I can touch the ground while sitting on my seat, the rear basket is huge and I have no problem carrying my stuff to work!! We feel really lucky to have found a store that had all models to test ride. My town now has a b bike shop that sells Aventon so I don’t have to travel 3 hours for service. Thank you Aventon for having so many bike options yo choose from. You have a model for everyone!! The Abound SR is amazing!!
