I wanted to post this feedback/information hoping it might someone else too who is in a similar situation as me owning the original Abound. First of all, this product seems very sturdy. I purchased this rack though a store (sports basement) for my Aventon Abound even though the description says it is meant for the SR and LR models only. I was able to fit this on my Abound but had to fill in some gap (in blue arrows in my picture)with a couple of washers. Also, the points shown in the green arrows is where I felt that the rack was pushing against the cables but this is a minor thing and doesn't hurt anything. I have left it at that but I may decide to open up the cables a bit in future if I feel necessary.
Aventon team, wondering if the product description should be modified to suggest this is compatible with the original Abound too? If not then I couldn't find a substitute for the original Abound. Also, one other thing I noticed from whatching a few assembly videos is that the original abound pizza rack was rated for 15KGs back in the day whereas this one is rated at 25 KG. So, definitely this one is sturdier.

Purchased this with our Abound LR's, gives the bike a utility look and feel to it. When loaded just make sure items are not longer then the handle bars. Perfect for ice chest I have found out.

Updated from 2 to 4 stars because Aventon reached out and gave me a refund for this rack.
The photos do not match the product. I purchased this rack because the photos show a MIK compatible pattern cutout. I talked to someone I know who had this rack and confirmed it was MIK compatible. The rack they shipped me has an altered pattern that does not match the photos and is not MIK compatible. I spoke with customer service and they sent me a second one which also had the same problem. Aventon needs to update these photos because it is very missleading.

Got everything mounted after adding 10 washers. To get the spacing right for adventure 2 step thru. 4 each side on top, 1 each side on bottom (leftover from another project with 1/4-20).
What are the extra threaded **** holes for in the plate? Are there any other accessories that use them, and what size screws do they fit?
