We love our new bikes. Good battery life, very comfortable and fun to ride.

I am impressed with the bike. I do volunteer work as a bike mechanic at a charity that lends bikes to foreign summer students. Occasionally we put together new bikes for a local bike shop. The packaging of the Aventon is much better than the T#*& bikes I have assembled. The fit and finish on the Aventon rivals that of much more expensive bikes. It's my first ebike so time will tell about the reliability but I am optimistic. I did have one issue with a noisy front brake. I reached out to customer service by email and they responded in less than 24 hours. We traded a couple emails and they advised to get 100 miles on bike to allow the front pads to seat. If the noise is still present they will send new pads. I thought this was a reasonable request. One of the reasons I bought Aventon is because it appeared that they offered good customer service and that has been my experience so far.

Just hit the one week mark of ownership of my Pace 500.2. Never owned a e-bike before but its just what the doctor ordered. I was finding that riding my classic bike was getting to be more of chore to get exercise than it was fun. I used excuses like “its too windy” to talk myself out of riding. After a week of ownership I’ve put 80 miles on my new bike and enjoyed every minute of it. I rarely go higher than PA 2 and usually use 8th gear and feel like I still get a pretty good workout. Battery life so far has been great. I got my wife the pace 350 at the same time and she loves it as well. I only wish that Aventon wood include an adjustable stem on the 350. After riding my 500 she found it much more comfortable so I had to buy an adjustable stem for it. If I had to do it over I believe I would have bought another 500 instead of the 350. For 200 bucks more you get the adjustable stem, hydraulic brakes, upgraded tires, as well as a larfer motor and battery. Looking back it was kind of a no brainer. That being said the power and range of the 350 is more than adequate. I am hoping to have a long and happy relationship with Aventon, Looking forward to writing another review in 6 months or so reporting that all is still great, Thanks Aventon.

The step-through Pace 500.2 is very easy to use and quick to learn. For me, this bike is a game changer allowing for easy riding the hilly terrain in our neighborhood. Works well as a pedal bike and has an amazing pedal assist when needed. I highly recommend the Pace 500.2.
