So I stripped the thread on the original hanger due to my own stupidity when fixing rear tire — when I put the derailleur back on I didn’t align it perfectly due to the derailleur spring fighting me. Feeling very lucky to remember they included a backup with bike purchase. Found it in box and replaced it easily (this time I did it right by holding it perfectly aligned). Now all good again. I’m buying an extra just in case I mess up again in the future :)

When I ordered my bike it arrived with the derailleur hanger bent. Aventon replaced it for me. Great service.

Had something get wrapped up in my chain while out for a ride.

After a bad storm coupled with my rain cover proved to be too much for the bike rack. I was left with a bent hanger from the fall onto its driveline side. The bike comes with one spare but I ordered a couple more to have as a spare at home and one to keep with me on the trail.
