I posted the follow-up on the Facebook Aventon Ramblas Owners Group:
Aventon Warranty Review
My son purchased his Ramblas April of 2024. He lives over an hour away and we have only ridden together a few times. He stores it winter months in my basement and over this winter he decided to do some ugrades one of which was less aggressive tires for his type of riding. I changed out the rear tire with no issue. Next came the front. I placed the tire on the rim and it so nicly fell right over the rim. What? I tired again and the same. Tire too big. Now the wtf moment. I glanced at the old tire. 27.5! He has a Medium frame!
Rear is 29er and front 27.5. The 27.5 only come on the Small.
Now you are probably thinking how did you not notice this? My son is not and advid cyclist. He gets on and rides. Air in the tires, battery charged he is happy. My excuse? Ain't my bike! I just do the maintenance and now it needed tires.
I called Aventon thinking this probably will not go well. They asked me to send them pics of the receipt, Ser #, Medium decal on the frame and pic of the tire/wheel. The next morning I get an email response stating if I supply my address they will ship me a new front AND rear wheelset! Are you kidding? The order was confirmed and shipped within an hour! I recieved the wheelset yesterday and the front wheel came with the brake rotor!
I am pretty sure this error happened at the dealership assembling multiply bikes at a time. The dealership was in southern NH a 5 hour roundtrip for me.
This was customer service above and beyond!
