Fat tire bikes are designed primarily for all-terrain use and can handle various off-road terrains, including street, snow, sand, dirt trails, and rough roads.
The Aventure 2 weighs 77 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 10.6lbs)
Aventon’s Aventure 2 fat tire ebike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Aventure 2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.
Some Aventon models, such as the Level 2, Level 3, Abounds, Sinch 2, & Aventure 2, come with pre-installed fenders and a rear rack. Additional accessories are available for purchase. Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

It Earns The Hype

This bike has earned every bit of hype it receives. It's just a genuinely great machine. Its a joy to drive and worth every penny.

The good: the stock headlight is actually usable. The suspension absorbs the terrain and the weight makes the bike feel planted. The controls are intuitive and the app just works. The riding position is very comfortable.

It's not hard to assemble, the instructions are well written. The entire bike is high quality.

My only real complaint with this bike is, they provide a decent quality, seat post reflector, with the installed cargo rack, unless you're riding with the seat post all the way up, the reflector will be hidden by the rack or a bag. I think there should be an OEM option to relocate the reflector to rear of the rack, i was able to resolve this issue by custom designing and 3D printing a mount to resolve the issue, which isn't a deal breaker but there should be a bracket either sold separately or sent with the bike.

Overall, extremely impressed, its the first bike I've wanted to put miles on just because.

Great bike Adventure 3

I have a standard bike that is 6 years old and the difference is amazing compared to the Adventure 3. The Adventure 3 is a great leap in technology. It has a quick acceleration. It rides much smoother compared to my old bike. Only had it for a day now and I am eagerly waiting for all of the adventures ahead. My only regret is while it was being shipped to me it went on Forth of July sale. If I waited a couple of days I would have saved a couple hundred dollars.
