Fat tire bikes are designed primarily for all-terrain use and can handle various terrains, including street, snow, sand, dirt trails, and rough roads.
The Aventure.2 weighs 77 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 10.6lbs)
Aventon’s Aventure.2 fat tire ebike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Aventure.2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
Yes. Class 1 ebikes are pedal-assist only, meaning they have no throttle and can only reach a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour. By removing the throttle on your Aventon ebike and ensuring the max speed limit is set to 20mph, you can configure a class 2 to a class 1 ebike for trail use.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Great First Time EBike

This was my first E-bike purchase and did a lot of research before I decided to get the Aventon Aventure.2 and so far I am extremely happy. I was lucky to have been able to ride the very same bike at a friends home in Colorado. This Bike comes with so many great features compared to other brands. From the order to the delivery top notch customer service. The packaging and the instructions a superb which make the little assembly one has to do very easy. I have my bike now for a little over a month and was able to enjoy some rides on the weekends. Top performance and the app makes it easy to adjust all kind of setting to your individual needs. I could not be happier about this first EBike experience and will highly recommend Aventon and its Products to everyone I know.
