My wife and I purchased two Aventon foldable locks and have used them a few times. The construction is solid and the lock is well-built. I don’t know if all foldable locks have this, but what we like about the lock is that it swivels around so the two ends don’t have to be at a 90 degree angle for them to come together! We also like the fact that the locks come with their own mounting bracket. The only problem we have is the fact that we can't pull out the lock from the bracket without turning it a few degrees because on my wife's bike (Pace 500.3) because the seat is two low!
