Ive seen Aventon bikes everywhere for awhile, but I hadn’t actually spent time on an emtb until now. Coming from a pretty deep cycling background in cycling, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the Ramblas ADV genuinely raised my expectations for what an electric mountain bike can be. The power delivery fees smooth and natural rather than overwhelming, and the range gives you the freedom to ride longer routes without constantly thinking about battery life. 
If you’ve been curious about Emtb’s but haven’t taken the leap yet, the Ramblas ADV might be the ride that flips the switch. It definitely did for me.

I ride a motorcycle regularly. So I am familiar with the wrist-actuated throttle for generating forward motion. In fact, before committing to this bike, I was a little bit concerned that the "pedal assist" might involve too much work on my part. After riding the Ramblas in various conditions, this concern has completely vanished. The force sensor that responds to the leg input is a superb mind reader that provides powerful motor assist in an unobtrusive manner. I am very impressed about how intuitive the bike operation feels. In fact, this mid-drive assist system is more intuitive than the grip throttle system because it delivers effortless propulsion without the need for grip throttle input.

I have done quite a bit of bicycling including long distance tours, mountain biking, and commuting to work (20+ miles one-way), so I am attuned to what a well-performing bike feels like. Nothing about the Ramblas feels cheap or inadequate. It is not a low-cost bike; but there are other e-mountain-bikes that cost a lot more.
I think the integrator at Aventon spent a great deal of time and effort choosing the quality components to put on top of the well-designed frame. The result is an immensely enjoyable e-bike of excellent value.

I have also noted other excellent execution details such as very good frame welds, tightening torque embossed at important hardware, non-rusting bottle mount bolts, and a useful headlight.

If you are looking for a versatile e-bike, you should check out the Ramblas. Quality components, integrated lighting, dropper seat post, and a powerful efficient mid-drive motor right out of the box!
The Ramblas is versatile. On the trails or on the road, for recreation or fitness, this bike is capable of fulfilling many roles. I bought it mainly for fitness, but have already found myself out on local trails. In the future I plan on adding a rear rack for quick trips to the grocery store.
The quality of the bike impressed my neighbor who owns a E-MTB that retails for double what I paid for the Ramblas.
I’m very pleased with my purchase. It arrived just over a week ago and I’ve already put over 100 miles on it! I love the quality, versatility and value of this bike. So much so considering a second Aventon for the Wife!

I’ve had this bike for about a month and so far, I’ve only used it on pavement or bike trails. I love that it doesn’t look like a traditional e-bike nor does it handle like one. It has a natural feel. Even in turbo mode, it feels natural….just much faster. I covered 24 miles today at an average of 22 mph with over 800 ft of incline. The incline wasn’t extreme but it also wasn’t flat. I passed every bike on the trail! This thing is a rockstar. Everyone was checking it out after the ride and wishing they chose the Ramblas over what they were riding. Love this bike.

I just received a heart transplant last year, 2024 and hadn't ridden a Mt bike much in the last 10+ yrs. Hadn't been on all the trails I used to ride in almost 13 yrs. I had an inexpensive e bike I rode on the trails a little bit 5 yrs ago but it really didn't have the power to climb much more than the easiest hills and I wasn't very strong and eventually had to give up the trails again. After my transplant, I realized my old ebike wasn't going to cut it and decided to upgrade to a nicer bike. The Ramblas has handled like a dream and I've been able to ride trails again I hadn't been on in 14 yrs. or more. This bike was everything I could ask for. I still suffer from partial paralysis on my right side due to complications from my surgery and this bike has plenty of power to get up so I can get down. Grest bike for this disabled rider. I love it.
