E29 error leveled

I was getting a E29 error code on my display for my first gen level (over voltage) Battery is good. Controller fixed problem. It takes some patience and a little bit of care but was able to replace in 20-30 mins. Thanks Aventon.

Replacing the controller for Aventon Pace 500 to fix an EV voltage error

After researching the error code, I determined that I had a problem with either my controller or my battery. I ordered the controller without any difficulty. Replacing the old controller was relatively easy although tucking all the wires into the tight space took a bit of doing. It fixed the error message and the bike is now back to normal. If I can do it, anyone can.
