Other reviews note that the 31.6 seat clamp does not fit. My seat clamp is a 31.6 and appears to fit just fine. Maybe the other reviewers are installing it incorrectly. Note that it is not attached to the seat post. It is attached below the seat post.

I'm happy with the rack, it feels sturdy and has been working well with panier bags. I am only disappointed that the provided seat post clamp is 31.6 but a 34.9 clamp is needed. I spoke with Aventon regarding my concern, and they told me the post clamp is intended to attach to the upper part of the dropper post, rendering the dropper unfunctional. I use the dropper post very often, I was not willing to lose that functionality. I instead asked my bike shop to order a 34.9 clamp and that worked just fine but was an extra cost. The Megarack should be paired with a 34.9 seat post clamp for the Ramblas. I hope Aventon pays attention to the several product reviews describing this disappointing issue.

Ramblas NEEDS a properly fitting heavy duty rear rack. Apparently this is the one you guys recommend but the other reviews make it clear that it does not fit properly. Are there plans to come out with a proper rear rack for the Ramblas soon? Thank you!

I bought this rack with hopes of placing a bag on the back of my bike. I took it to the bike shop and they couldn’t put it on the bike saying the rack doesn’t fit right on the bike. Why do you advertise and sell a product that doesn’t fit on the bike you sell?
