Lightweight, fairly simple to install. It is clearly a generic rack not fitted specifically for this frame. The front supports are identical to one another, leading to an asymmetrical appearance that is only noticeable upon close inspection. You have to screw the front supports all the way in, then bend the support inward toward the rack to finish installation. If you don't do that first, the planes in the support and frame screw receptor don't match. Definitely could have used instructions for installation. As it is, I had to Google a picture of an already installed rack to deduce how the hardware needs to be positioned. It was a free rack with purchase of the bike, so I'm pleased. If I were shopping for a rack alone, I might choose one like the Topeak ones that integrate with additional cargo accessories.
I bought the large rack and it seems sturdy enough. My problem is that after it was installed, it slants down toward the bike seat. I don't see any other way to install it.
Would have given it 5 stars but no installation instructions made it a time consuming trail and error process.
Not large and bulky, well built and looks cool
Great bike for getting your exercise or leveling off the hills and taking the head wind out of the ride. 6'1" and 245 pounds. The bike takes me wherever I want to go.
