This worked very well. I can tell that my bag is rock solid attached to my rear rack. Very easy to quickly remove and quickly attach.

It works great to attach the bag to the bike.

Will this fit on my rack for the 2024 Pace 500.3? Or will the Aventon Rack-Top Bag quick-release directly to my rack? Thanks!

I got this Quick Release for my Ramblas after I installed the fender set that came with a rear rack. I figured since I now have a rack I’d get a bag to carry some tools and other paraphernalia. It fits the rack really well and clicks on and off flawlessly.
Then I got the idea to make an adapter plate so I could use the same bag/quick release on my Aventure. It’s much quicker than using the Velcro straps every time I change bikes. So here’s what I did: I made a cardboard pattern. Then I traced the pattern onto 1/4 inch aluminum plate ( nylon sheet would be better/lighter-considered plexiglass but it’s too brittle) and cut it out with a jig saw and 4” disc metal saw and a file. The nylon sheet would be much faster and easier to work with. Anyway ,if you have some basic shop skills you can probably figure out the process from my pictures. Just make sure to get the correct thickness of material to fit under the latch mechanism of the quick release. And make sure when you position the plate on your rack to drill the mounting holes there is nothing obstructing the holes in the plate. I recommend countersinking the mounting holes-I used stainless flat head Allen screws. I had to get longer screws because I didn’t want to use the straps on the bag- I cut a piece of 1/8” nylon sheet to put inside the bag and run the screws through. The nuts on the quick release are 5m/80 I believe.
My only complaint about this Quick Release is that it is hard to find on this website. It seems it should come up in the “rear racks” section or by clicking the Ramblas designator.
