After looking for more than a year, I gave up on finding a bike rack strong enough for my e-bike at an affordable price. this rack works perfectly! Sturdy enough for both of our e-bikes, lightweight and easy to assemble. I can finally take my Aventure to new places!

Purchased the Aventon Hitch Rack last summer following the purchase of 2 four inch **** tire heavy e-bikes. The rack is for my Subaru Outback where access to the rear hatch was required. The Aventon Hitch Rack is configurable to providing full access to rear hatch before and after bikes are off the rack but rack is still installed. The Hitch is mounted with a special anti-rattle hitch mounting bolt lock that removes all loose play resulting in a firm position installation removing all loose movement when transporting the heavy 75lb each e-bikes. The Rack is well designed and easy to use but I did replace the Velcro tire straps with buckle straps from Home Depot, which better option.

Now for my Service experience story. I did have an issue with one of the Pop Pins that locks the folding rack arms for storage mode configuration just short of one year since purchase date. I reached out to the Aventon Service team where they stated the Pop Pin lock part was not immediately available so they sent me free of charge a whole new hitch rack. That was most unexpected and that excellent service allowed me to use the rack for a planned camping trip without having to jury rig some fix just because a part was not available. Thank you Aventon for standing by your product. I am very pleased that I made the decision to purchase this rack. I highly recommend it for all reasons mentioned above.
