This is a simple plastic piece that fits over your display. It does not protect the screen but I do like the way it looks next to my cell phone holder with the cover on. The shipping $ could be less, but I used my $20 off first purchase to make up for the $15 shipping. If you order other items and are paying for shipping anyway, the cover is a good deal, and it adds protection and style points. Cheers.
