I ordered my Adventon Aventure Electric Bike while on vacation in Colorado. It came professionally boxed to the campground where I was staying. Unfortunately, when it comes unassembled, there is no way to test it before delivery. So right out of the box, the bike had an initial quality of two stars (out of five). The front fork adjustment was frozen, and the Derailleur would not shift into first gear without grinding and slipping. There was no bike shop within 100 miles, so I was stuck with these riding conditions for two months. When I returned to McKinney, TX, I took the bike to my local Adventon Dealer to have the new replacement fork replaced and the Derailleur adjusted. The new fork was installed but the Derailleur was defective and could not be adjusted so more parts had to be ordered. The bike went back to the shop for the second time to have the new part installed. It now works fairly well with only a sight clicking noise when shifting into first. I'd rate customer service with five stars for they were quick to respond to these issues but my overall impression is less than ideal. I'd recommend buying an Aventon Electric Bike "only" if you live next door to an Aventon Bike Shop. Have it shipped there and pay them to assemble it, then have them test it and fix all the out-of-box issues before delivery.
