The Aventon Child Carrier Kit is designed to give your Abound passengers unmatched comfort and security. The long seat pad covers the entire rear rack to accommodate multiple passengers, while the handrails offer security and stability to keep your co-pilot(s) safe on your rides.
Compatible models: Abound and Abound LR.
Also compatible with the Thule Yepp Nexxt Maxi Rack Mount Child Seat if the seat pad is disconnected

Rear passenger seating requires specialized heavy-duty frame reinforcement and higher rear-rack weight limits, which are featured on models like our Abound cargo bike. If you are looking for a child transport setup for your Soltera 2, we recommend exploring frame-mounted or seatpost-mounted child seats that adhere to standard frame safety ratings, or considering a dedicated cargo model for carrying passengers.

I purchased the Aventon Adventure 3 step through and I love it so much!!!!! What fun bike! I need a carrier for my 5 year old granddaughter….will any on here work?

It works for getting 2 kids (3 and 5) to school and back. Simple to install. Although this product is a little more expensive than buying the Abound handrail and seat pad separately, the assembled result is better because the angle of the back seat pad is more ergonomic, and the cushions seem to be slightly thicker. Recommend.

My two kids both fit well on the back of my Abound LR with this kit. The seat pad is very cushioned, and I appreciate the back rest. I like the foam padding on the hand rail, but we will see with time if it holds up to sun, rain, cold weather exposure.
