Alright but too pricy and tricky to order

The product itself is fine. For around $19 is kinda expensive but it is a proprietary part so understandable. However, I have fallen in the same trap as my fellow Aventon users- I ordered a battery and the cover is not included. Admittedly it was my fault as it is stated somewhere in the description but it is just so easy for customers to overlook that and it seems like I am not alone. So I had to figure out if spending $100 for free shipping or $15 for shipping for a $19 product is the better poison. That really soured my experience honestly. Everything else was an alright ordering experience.

Overpriced but usable

As the title states. Wish it already came with the extra battery I purchased.

I can’t express this enough to Aventon: spending $500 on an extra battery that does not come with the cover REQUIRED for the bike to work instead of showing an error is just a crazy way to treat loyal customers. It seems like a **** and shady way to make more money. My husband and I love your bikes and wanted to go even further (which in a one day stretch would mean carrying extra batteries.) We spend $1,000 to both get one to take this trip for our anniversary and a week before we discover it doesn’t come with the cover!? $1,000 in EXTRA batteries for no cover. Ridiculous. Hopefully this gets to us in time and doesn’t ruin our anniversary plans.
