Both the Soltera and the RadMission 1 are available in a standard and increasingly popular step-through, a.k.a mid-step, frame. One question you should always ask when looking at step-through models is how low do they actually go? Both sizes of the Soltera Step-Through top out with a 25.5 inch standover height, whilst the RadMission 1 Mid-Step has a standover height of 28 inches.

When you’re choosing to spend over $1000 on an ebike it should fit you. Having size options available is key to making sure that each individual gets an ebike that fits them as perfectly as is possible.

The color you choose is the one that sings to your personal flavor. So having options in this area is critical!

Weight is an important factor on an ebike when you need to be fast and nimble; and every pound counts. Not only is a reduced weight better for riding but it also means that an ebike is lighter to carry up a flight of stairs to an apartment or workplace.

Not only does an integrated battery make for a much sleeker looking ebike, but it can also trick bystanders into thinking that you’re riding that fast under your own power! It can also disguise the fact that you’re riding what is now considered to be an item of
high value.

Kickstands are there for those of us that are on the go and don’t want to be leaning our ebike up against the wall or laying it down on the floor. After all, you did spend over $1000 on it, and you want it to look elegant and grand stood there on its own.

When you’re zipping around a town or city, slimmer handlebars help with maneuverability, meaning you can be more nimble and agile amongst the traffic and the crowds. These are generalized statements from the ebike world, and everyone’s preference is different.

The 700C tires on the Soltera are a common tire throughout the riding world, whilst the 27.5” x 1.95” are slightly less so and, therefore, more difficult to find replacements for. Besides that the 700C are the classic road bike tire and are known for performing exceptionally well in the urban environment. The slightly smaller 27.5” x 1.95” size tire is a little nimbler because it is smaller, and it does offer slightly better traction on gravel and dirt, as well as a larger surface area with a slightly more comfortable ride.

Where your throttle is placed is a decision the manufacturer makes, but this can also be a personal preference amongst riders. Some love the “motorcycle-style” feel of a twist grip, others are more confident with a thumb-lever or toggle because they can be sure that there’s very little chance they can accidentally pull on the throttle.

You can look great whilst you’re riding your ebike but if you have streaks of mud up and down your front and back when you get there… well you don’t look so cool. Whilst we haven’t made proprietary fenders for the Soltera there are multiple after-market options out there that will fit it perfectly.
