The Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, rigid fork, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle, while the Level.2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with fenders and a rear rack.
The Aventon Pace 500.3 comes puncture-resistant tires that are made with tougher compounds and are great for rough surfaces, such as uneven asphalt or light gravel trails.
The Pace 500.3 cruiser electric bike weighs 54 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 7.5lbs)
Aventon’s Pace 500.3 cruiser electric bike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Pace are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
Yes. Class 1 ebikes are pedal-assist only, meaning they have no throttle and can only reach a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour. By removing the throttle on your Aventon ebike and ensuring the max speed limit is set to 20mph, you can configure a class 2 to a class 1 ebike for trail use.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, fun to ride

I ordered the bike for my wife and had it sent directly to my house since I am fairly competent with basic tools. It arrived within just a few days without paying for expedited shipping. It arrived mostly assembled and with a QR Code link to a short assembly video that was both easy to watch and understand. Once the bike was assembled I gave it a test ride and I didn't really want to give it to my wife after that! Now I'm saving up for my own.

10/10 for this bike

I am always guessing which piece of equipment is just right for my needs. Well I hit the jackpot with this bike. I am a heavy rider (260 lbs) and I feel this is the perfect bike for me. I wanted my ebike to give me the boost to make it up the steep hills and that is exactly what my Aventon Pace 500 does for me! I am enjoying riding again! I spend about 75% of my ride time with the petal assist turned off, but when I get to those hills that I used to have to walk up, I engage the petal assist in the lowest setting and cruise right up the hills. I highly recommend this ebike!

Great choice & customer service

Thoroughly enjoying my Pace 500.3. I did not an initial issue with rear brake noise and Paul @ Aventon was super responsive in sending out new parts and authorizing a LBS to perform the install.

Amazing ebike

Im considered inactive but with this bike, was able yo go 30 miles on mostly assisted 1 level. It sure got me going! Loving how it feels to ride it.
