The Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, rigid fork, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle, while the Level 2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with fenders and a rear rack.
The Aventon Pace 500.3 comes puncture-resistant tires that are made with tougher compounds and are great for rough surfaces, such as uneven asphalt or light gravel trails.
The Pace 500.3 cruiser electric bike weighs 54 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 7.5lbs)
Aventon’s Pace 500.3 cruiser electric bike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Pace are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.
Some Aventon models, such as the Level 2, Level 3, Abounds, Sinch 2, & Aventure 2, come with pre-installed fenders and a rear rack. Additional accessories are available for purchase. Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Great Bike - replaced a Soltera

This bike is great, its fast, fun and more upright than the others which makes it comfortable to ride. I really enjoy the battery life. I wish it had a little more suspension for hard bumps, seat suspension or otherwise. Overall, a great bike for the money.
