I purchased this pannier set for my bike when I go on grocery runs. Construction seems solid, the bag material is thick and well put together. The harder plastic inserts to give the pannier shape can be a bit unruly due to being folded during shipping, but otherwise give the pannier a solid base for cargo to sit on. There are slots on the interior for the inserts to slip into. For the FIT- this is where it can get tricky as it does not come with instructions. For the rear rack of the Level 4: it attaches to the TOP of the rack, NOT the side horizontal bars. You must remove the rubber grommets on the clips to make this fit the top beams. Once the top clips are on and positioned, slide the bottom clips into place to secure it to the angle support beams. I've included pictures. To close the bags, roll the top and buckle the sides to seal them. Aside from initial frustration getting it installed, my only other gripe is it covers the rear built in lights- decreasing visibility. My helmet has brake sense lights and indicators- so it will do when the panniers are on.
Overall I recommend them, but for safety make sure you have other means to make you visible in low light settings.

Aventon Twin Pannier

Some negative reviews had me concerned that my bags might not be a good fit or attach properly. I worried for nothing. Bags are roomy, spacious and attach securely w/o hassle. I don’t use the bags every time but I have put on and removed enough times to know both processes are easy , quick and secure.
Two cons, neither enough to change my rating…as other reviews have noted the bags do not come w instructions, but I found the fist attachment process to be intuitive. 2) I have noticed that my back of foot sometimes just barely touches tthe bag, not every time and never both feet during the course of the ride.

With purchases like these I have been known to go w cheaper and lower quality knockoffs, I have a special satisfaction knowing I have high quality bags made by the same people who manufactured the bike I love.

Looks like good material and will fit on different bike racks.

Very satisfied with the twin pannier bags. They seem sturdy and exceed my expectations.
