E-bike Rack w/ramp

The rack was properly described on line. The ramp with the e-bike walk mode worked great for people with a back issue.

Pro bike rack

Only used it once so far but it seems sturdy and steady while driving on paved roads. We'll see once we have the opportunity to hit the dirt. The ramp was well worth it and recommended if you have heavy bikes like the Adventure 3.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Aventon Hitch Rack Pro. We're glad to hear that it held up well during your drive on paved roads, and continues to perform just as well when you take it off-road. We also agree that the ramp is a great addition for heavier bikes like the Adventure 3. Ride on!

Ok rack some design flaws

I do enjoy the rack I wish it did tilt because lifting the adventure three into it is a little rough. I found if you put the front tire in and then lift the back It’s a little bit easier. The top bars that cinch down on the bike have nothing to retain it when you fold the rack up. I use bungee cord so I don’t punch out my back window. I have no problem with fitting the bike or stability. I’ve taken it on multiple highways and back roads and haven’t worried about the bike coming out. I mainly bought this model because I didn’t know what else would hold the adventure three and just wanted something that worked and didn’t have time to look for something else.

Hi Bryce,

Thank you for the review and for sharing your experience carrying your Aventure.3! We are glad to hear the rack gives you total peace of mind and stability at highway speeds. You bring up some great points regarding the weight-lifting effort required for heavier e-bikes and securing the cinch arms when the rack is folded up. Feedback like yours is invaluable as we refine our accessory designs. Our support team is reaching out to you directly to check in on your setup and share a few tips for making loading and folding even easier.

Didn't come with instructions, large bolt was stripped - otherwise great rack

I had to put this bike rack together without instructions because none were included. All I had to go on was the youtube video of the hitch rack pro played at .25 speed because the video is so, so fast. I ended up with 4 extra washers that I guess will never go on because 4 of the bolts need 2 washers- and I'll never know which.

The large bolt that allows for the rack to cantilever down or up came stripped. I had to go to the hardware store and it was a 10 dollar replacement for the bolt and the nut.

Otherwise, the rack is solid and holds my cargo bike without a problem. I'm a little worried about the piece on the rack that attaches to the ramp. It is only held down by a **** that is unable to tighten and I can see it eventually popping off.

I didn't have a problem with the hitch bolt fitting, and it's actually a really nice set up. After clamping down on it, there really isn't much of a wobble compared to other brands.
