Battery Charger

The charger I bought is to replace the original charger for my Adventure 2. I think the first one stopped working because I was plugging it into a power strip and not directly into a wall outlet. The new one works great.

Short Life

I purchased a charger for my Abound LR just about a year ago. All was well until the the charger failed. I contacted Aventon and they researched my purchase and asked me about the circumstances leading to the failure. I was very pleasantly surprised when I was contacted by Aventon and they informed me that they would be replacing the charger free of charge! Great customer service is one reason I purchased an Aventon E-Bike and great customer service is what I received. I am very happy with my bike and the customer service received. Thank you Aventon!

Overheating

Just what I needed but it seems to overheat when charging the battery.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! You’re spot on. It’s completely normal for e-bike chargers to get warm or hot during a charge cycle. Keeping the charger in a well-ventilated area, on a flat hard surface, or resting on its side so air can circulate underneath is a great way to keep temperatures down. If you ever feel the charger is becoming excessively hot to the touch, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team so we can take a closer look!
