Section 301 Ebike Tariffs: What You Need To Know

May 31, 2024

Dear Aventon Community,

We regret to inform you that the Section 301 tariffs on ebikes, which have impacted our import costs, are set to expire on June 14th, as announced by the United States Trade Representative (USTR). Unfortunately, with the end of this extension, we anticipate a significant increase in our importing costs. As a result, Aventon will be adjusting our prices accordingly, effective June 10th.

We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we share your frustration. At Aventon, we are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality ebikes that offer exceptional performance and value. The imposition of these tariffs presents a significant challenge, but we are committed to navigating these changes with transparency and integrity.

Our team is working tirelessly to minimize the impact of these tariffs on our pricing. We have explored every possible avenue to absorb these additional costs, but the magnitude of the increase makes it unavoidable for us to adjust our prices. Rest assured, we remain focused on delivering the best products to you, our valued customers, without compromising on quality or service.

Aventon has always been about inclusivity and accessibility. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy and freedom of riding an ebike. Despite the challenges posed by these tariffs, we will continue to strive to keep our products as affordable as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time. Your loyalty and passion for Aventon inspire us every day to innovate and improve. Together, we will overcome these obstacles and continue to ride towards a brighter, more sustainable future.

Thank you for being a part of the Aventon family.

Sincerely,

The Aventon Team
