Our Customers are Amazing - Here's Why
July 2, 2020
As a company that prides itself on building great quality products that are accessible to all, with the focus of delighting and enhancing people's lives, it warms our hearts to hear from our customers the impact our products have on them personally!
Cami Dreyer, a nurse on the front lines in New York, one of the hardest hit states by COVID19, shared her story with us, and let’s just say this brought us to happy tears!
“Hello!!! I wanted to take a moment to reach out to your company and let you know what a difference your product has made in my life!
As a nurse in New York City who lives In Brooklyn and works in a large hospital in Manhattan, when the pandemic hit, I was at a loss not knowing how I would be getting to work with the subways shut down. I immediately went to a local bike shop and left with one of your amazing bikes.
Not only has the Pace 500 gotten me to work in almost half the time, I am invigorated and Safe! Flying over the bridges and up the bike lanes at sunrise and sunset has been solidly in the category of “self care”. Almost a spiritual experience of freedom!! Which is much required as I already work with end-of-life patients, even before Covid hit my unit.
It’s about 20 miles round-trip so I have to take my charger to make sure I don’t have to worry what speed I’m going/how fast I’m draining the battery. I would like to maybe order a new battery to keep it at work. Thank you for everything, it’s the perfect bike! The only thing I would change would be more shock absorption. I did get a flat tire in the first month, though Mr. C’s came and picked up my bike and fixed it free of charge. Thank you thank you thank you!!”
To you, Cami, we say, THANK YOU! You are our HERO and we couldn't be happier and more humbled by your love of our bike. As a thank you for all that you do to keep people healthy, we are giving you a second battery to ensure you never have to worry about running on empty!
And to Mr. C’s Cycles in Brooklyn, we say, THANK YOU! You have been such an amazing partner to Aventon, and we are grateful to call you Aventon family! Mr. C’s was integral in our Mask Donation to Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NY. They put together the ebikes and hand delivered them to the amazing staff at the hospital, along with 7000 masks. Without Mr. C’s help, this donation would not have been possible.
During this uncertain time in our world, it is so important to do our part to help. We are so thankful to front line workers, our amazing advocates and customers, and our helpful bike shop partners, like Mr. C’s Cycles.
On behalf of all of us at Aventon, Thank you!
Thank God there still are good people in the world!!!!
Loved this story. I’m a retired RN and when I am riding my 500, I think how handy it would have been to ride to my job at OSU. I happen to have an extra battery too and I highly recommend it. This bike is just what I need to remain busy and active while our rec centers are shut down. I am telling all of my fellow retirees how fabulous this bike is.
Good For You! Thank you for all you do on the Front Lines! I got my Pace 500 at Mr. C’s in Brooklyn also. Victor, who works there, is Wonderful! I was living in Battery Park at the time. Many trips over the Manhattan bridge to Sunset Park and Mr. C’s Bike shop. I had my bike shipped to southern California where I live now. Twenty mile bike ride this morning. I love my Aventon Pace 500!
