Perfection

Definately a higher quality bike in this price range. Rides smooth as butter on urban streets and incorporates a drop-dead gorgeous frame design. After upgrading a few parts(stem, handlebars) and adding some arero bar clips to some Pseries riser bars on my raw w/clear coat frame, which isn't an option for some reason, my Mataro was defiantly one of the nicer looking bikes in my riding group. I was receiving multiple compliments from guys on Throne Tracklords, Unknown Singularities, even guys on Cerevellos!!! Would absolutely recommend to somone looking for a more than great ride quality with a beautifully designed frame.

Beauty & Beast

Fantastic ride! Nimble, light & gets compliments from everyone that sees it. People have even rolled down their windows at the traffic lights to start on conversation thanks to its aesthetics. A huge plus point is Zach being really proactive, prompt and patient in answering all my questions.

The two issue I faced
1. The saddle is of bad quality. the top of it tore off in the first month and the material below fell out making riding a pain for a week till I got a new saddle
2. The bartape is as thin as paper but I swapped it out for some Supercaz and man do I appreciate this build so much more

Score: 4.5/5.0

Matthew, Zach here, Do you mind sharing what saddle you choose as replacement? Just want some more information on the issue so I can make sure we can improve! Thanks for the positive words! We appreciate it!

Great Buy

I've been meaning to buy my first bike for a while now and this was a great choice. It looks sleek and functions perfectly. I haven't been able to take it out much due to New England weather being a pain but the few times I've been able to have been a blast. Everyone who sees my bike loves it too. Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can start riding this thing to work. Looking forward to riding this bike for many years to come.

Glad you like the bike Jon. Send us some pictures on instagram so we can check out your build and remember to register it for warranty support. Ride safe! - Zach

Build

I am wondering if this comes built all up and ready to hit the roads?

Hello customer (no name besiders wondering), The bike comes 90% complete so theres not much left to assemble and tune on the bike. You'll need to install the pedals, front wheel, seat post (seat is installed), and the handle bars. You'll then need to check the rear wheel bolts and chain tension to ensure your safety while riding as these are not fully tightened from the factory. Lastly, Align the brakes or remove them if you know how to ride fixed gear and you are good to go! Any other questions you have you can email me at Zacharyb@aventon.com Regards, Zach

Happy customer

This is my first Aventon and although the weather has been less than desirable it has not stopped me from going out and getting a good feel for this product. I am pleased with how stiff the aluminum feels and its responsiveness. Time will tell but overall I am very happy with this bike.
