They work as described and are easy to install.
So these lights fulfill the requirement many cities have on having a front white light and rear red light (or red reflector). They are not really a serious head light, so I recommend looking into getting a high lumens one later on, but if you are ordering a bike and plan to ride it immediately you should add these to your order. What is another 8 bucks for convenience when you are already spending a couple hundred. The design is really simple, and can be wrapped around your seatpost for the rear light, and even around the thickest part of your handlebar. There are three modes to this light, off flashing and solid. The material is durable, but susceptible to tearing if constantly stretched to a large degree so I wouldn't try and fit it around everything around your house, but around thin parts of your bars and seatpost they will be able to come on and off easily and throughout time.
