Very Nice Bike, with a couple of caveats

Preordered the bike with an estimated shipping date of 9/14/2021. Bike was delivered on 10/6, which meant it probably shipped around the end of September. Only complaint about communication, was that my order status on the website was never updated, even after it was delivered.

Assembly of the bike was a breeze. The bike as delivered had a small issue in that the wheel was making contact with the disc pads, so it wouldnt spin freely. I quickly adjusted the brakes, but if you are not mechanically inclined, this may cause you to have a service visit at a bike shop.

As far as ride characteristics:

As numerous other people have commented on Youtube, the frame has some of the best welding in the industry. I concur with this opinion. The frame latches are secure and at no point during my rides did I have feel like I was riding a foldable bike. Keeping the front shock absorber locked, results in a reasonably stiff ride, with some feeling of give in the frame, but not a lot. I have not ridden off pavement yet, so I can not give feedback on the ride characteristic of the shock absorber when it is engaged.

The motor is well suited for the 20 inch bike. There is plenty of power from the 500 watt motor to accelerate and climb hills. I weigh 215 lbs and the bike had no problem moving me from 0 to 20.5 mph with pretty linear acceleration.

The seat surprised me with its comfort, as I was initially planning on replacing the seat. I will continue to ride with this seat to see how it wears over time.

As advertised, the bike can be adjusted to suit people of varying sizes. I was able to quickly adjust the handle bars and seat height to get into a comfortable riding position. After additional tightening of the quick release latch, the seat stays in its assigned position.

The Shimano gears shift smoothly and the gearing seems to work well for me. Overall, the bike is really fun to ride.

The LCD display works well with the bike. It provides all the pertinent information I need for my rides. I especially appreciate the fact that the trip odometers reset when the display turns off. In this way, I can just turn on the bike and go, and not worry about having to reset the trip odometer. The only additional comment I can add about the LCD display is that if you need to place the bike upside down, you will need a hex key to loosen the screws holding it into place, so that you can move it out of the way, otherwise you risk damaging the display.

I just completed running down the battery for the first time. Riding on gentle sloped highways of northeast Florida using primarily pedal assist 2 and 3, along with some 1, I was able ride 47 miles with 2 bars of battery left on the display. My best guess is that the range is somewhere between 47 and 50 miles in my use case scenario.

Now for the caveats:

1) There is not really a good place to mount a water bottle cage on the frame. If this is important to you, you will have to find some sort of specialized adapter to make it work. I was able to mount my cage on the handlebars, but I need to figure out if it affects the ability to fold up the bike into the trunk of my sedan car. Right now there is no problems getting the bike into the trunk.

2) The bike is really heavy. If you get a flat tire on the side of the road, especially with the rear tire, it is going to be chore if you have to remove the wheel. You may be able to put a patch on the inner tube without removing the wheel, but that is the best case scenario. Working with the bike on a suitable bike stand is much preferred to not having one.

Overall, I am very happy with my e-bike. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a bike in this price range.
