Soltera Rear Tire

A sleek, single-speed electric bike (also available in a 7 speed) that is nimble and powerful enough to weave through the jungles of the city yet lightweight enough to carry up a flight of stairs after a day’s work.

The elegant and minimalist design is reminiscent of Aventon's performance cycling roots, but with an electric charge. The performance-inspired geometric frame allows for a more aggressive riding style with room to still enjoy a relaxing ride.

Maneuver your way through the city with the help of the stealthy yet powerful motor, equipped with both a throttle and pedal assist. Or if you're looking for a bit of a challenge, ride the Soltera using your own force and will. The choice is yours.

Large Backlit LCD Display

Backlit LCD Display w/App Sync

Our state of the art backlit display gives you the all important metrics needed, right at your finger tips: speed, distance traveled, pedal assist level, and more! Easily activate your ebike's integrated lights and sync to the Aventon app to share your rides with friends and family!

Frame Geometry

The Soltera ebike is meant for those who ride for the thrill of it. Its more aggressive geometry places the riders weight slightly more forward towards the handlebars, giving them greater control and stability as they navigate their commutes.

Pedal Assist & Throttle

Take control with throttle on demand and pedal assist functions! Throttle takes you where you need to be without breaking a sweat, while 5 levels of pedal assist allows you to manage your energy output without losing out on speed. Good Class 1/2 Bike

Usage Scenario: 12 mile RT with 800 ft net elevation change on good paved streets. (7-Speed)
-Works well, uses about 40% battery by end of trip at PAS 1-3 on descent, and PAS 4-5 on climb.
-Almost no battery use on downward trip.
-Climb sections are doable with assistance, sections with 10-15% grade will drop bike speed to about 11 mph with pedaling at max assistance on a 140lb rider.

Fit/Bike
-Large Stepover as a 5' 8" has a standover that is almost too high to wait at lights/stops. Comfort while riding is fine.
-Brakes had to be loosened out of box, as they were light to moderately engaged.

Soltera 7 my new favorite ebike

Pros:
- Range: With a fully charged battery I completed a 15 mile, slightly hilly, ride with 71% battery life remaining. Since you go up and down hills, for about 25% of the time I was riding at pedal assist level 0. For the rest of the time I was at pedal assist level 4 which is about 17 miles an hour on flat ground. I got the 7 speed to get the most out of going up and down hills. I ride for exercise so I pedal pretty hard.
- Comfort: The combination of handlebar grips, seat, wider than average road tires and precisely engineered geometry make for a surprisingly comfortable ride. I thought I would have to add an adjustable stem and a seatpost suspension but those things are totally unnecessary.
- Design: The Soltera seems designed to put you in constant communication with the road for a dynamic and visceral experience. Just like an acoustic road bike the Soltera is hyper responsive to your pedal power. You can easily ride on flat ground without pedal assist. You can even stand on the pedals when going uphill. Most ebikes attempt to isolate you as much as possible from the road with seatpost and fork suspensions. The Soltera is like a small sports car while my Aventon Level is like a luxury SUV.
Cons:
Quality control: Both front and rear brakes were rubbing after I put the bike together. It took over an hour of tweaking to get them right. I didn’t subtract a star for this because overall the bike is fantastic, but Aventon if you read this please get this right for future customers.

Bike fit information for context: I am 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh about 140 lbs. I have the large Soltera 7 and it fits perfectly.
