Cadence Sensor is Easy to Replace

One of our Pace 500s has 5,200 miles and began experiencing intermittent power cut outs. I traced the failure to a bad Cadence Sensor. The only special tool needed to replace it is a crank puller. But, there a several different types of pullers available. I contacted Aventon's Tech Support team and they recommended the exact tool and part number I needed. Once the crank was removed the rest was fairly easy. You could try to penetrate the cadence sensor with electronics cleaner, but I found that to be an unreliable temporary fix. Aventon's replacement is reliable and inexpensive. I look at it like any other consumable (tire, tube, brake pad, etc.). Eventually you'll need to replace it. As always, I appreciate Aventon Tech Support's repair guidance.
