I have had nothing but professional quick shipments from Aventon. I also have had good luck with slime tubes for years. The day i got my tires and tubes it was 115 degrees outside and probably 120+ on the UPS truck. 1 tube seperated at the valve and went flat the next morning after installation. The other tube is still going strong and has not needed any air in weeks despite abusive San Fernando Valley riding through glass and goatheads jumping curbs in blistering heat.
Slime Inner tube
I've been using Slime tubes, either with the sealant pre-installed from the factory (like these) or by adding my own Slime sealant to tubes, for more than 20 years. It works great to prevent and repair flats from thorns, which are common in this area. I am happy to have a little extra weight to avoid having to fix a flat in the middle of a training ride. They do weigh more, so I'd recommend using a non-Slime tube for race days.
