Can you please introduce yourself?
Hello humans of Earth, my name is Chris. I was born and raised in Los Angeles; my favorite color would have to be juniper green. I love food, coffee and getting lost.
What’s a normal day for you?
Normal day? I’m up early (like 5:00 am) always been an early bird, I get up I stretch, breathe, and meditate. I like to get myself in the “zone”. My gear is usually always laid out for me the night before; I just like to have my mornings flow nicely. Once I’m ready I push play on my playlist, and roll out. Every morning is different either it’s a straight shot to work, or a little detour to meet up with the BRKLA dudes. Usually getting to work around 8:00am, and getting off around 6:30pm then I jam on home Typically that usually takes me about an hour and a half. That’s normal right?
So what bike are you currently riding as your daily smasher?
I am riding a 2015 Aventon Cordoba and I am pushing a 48-15 gear ratio.
Hmm how do I like it?
I would have to say I love it!
How would you compare it to your previous bikes the Mataro and Mataro Low?
I feel that each bike has its purpose; Mataro has a nice elegant look to it. Its geometry is made for nice and comfortable rides. Where the Mataro Low has that’s very aggressive look, always on the attack and ready for the track. Now the Cordoba’s simplicity is what makes me love it so much. I’ve climbed some gnarly mountains, ridden some sketchy ass streets and have had some very close calls with all three bikes. Cordoba to me has been my favorite by for from Aventon.
How are you enjoying your Fairfax crank set?
I’m enjoying it so far; I think for the price it's well worth it. See that’s why I love track bikes, not to many parts yet each part has to be up to par. I feel that the Fairfax crank set is strong ,and can only continue to get better! I highly recommended it.
So how many miles do you ride a week?
I average between 200 to 250 a week.
What does the future look like for Trill?
I really don’t know, I don’t look too far ahead, because I’m still trying to enjoy the now. I hope that there is a lot of bike riding involved. Making new relationships with awesome people, and growing as a human.
